Enterprise Teaching & Learning at Barnwell School

The session started with a presentation of Shift happens; this is a very informative presentation on how the world is changing. It shows lots of facts and figures about how the students of today will need to adapt and grow in a very different world to the one we all know.
We then held a series of 6 x 10 minute workshops where teachers could show examples of enterprising activities that can be easily adapted to other curriculum areas.

2. Personalised learning in the classroom
3. Blood Diamonds – a creative curriculum for 9T
4. Rock Challenge – a cross-curricular project
5. School newspaper in an embryonic stage
6. Enterprise lesson starters
This was all rounded off in the school hall to hear about the next steps.
